Pieter van den Tillaart was a finance consultant with PwC from 1997 to 2001 for the companies Shell, Heineken and Compaq amongst others. Since 2001 he worked in various financial management, control and M&A positions for Philips Semiconductors. He was involved in the “leveraged buy-out” of NXP by PE investors. In 2006 he was appointed as CFO within the TMC group N.V, which he supervised to a Euronext listing. In 2008, Pieter founded RFM Holding BV from where he fulfilled various management positions and participations, ST Holding which realised a turnover of EUR 200 M in four years’ time and active in 8 countries, and Energy-For-You, an asset portfolio in sustainable energy based on PPA’s. From 2011, Pieter fulfils interim management positions and is involved in various start-ups and accelerators.
He is amongst others the co-founder and advisor of Bright Cape and co-founder of SPOSEA, YaDo-VR and WTE-Tech. Pieter has a university education in Financial Management and a post-master in Finance and Control. His motto: “Driven by data, charged by renewable energy”.
