Get 100% transparency on your business processes with Process Mining

Running processes efficiently is key for business success. Process mining enables companies to understand how their processes are running, and whether any (hidden) bottlenecks are causing the process to underperform. At Bright Cape we believe that this data driven approach allows companies to dive further, find the inefficiencies, and in the end translate these insights into meaningful improvements to unlock the maximum execution capacity.

Process Mining reveals what is really happening in your organization

Process mining analyses processes based on event data. It is based on what is really happening. We often find large discrepancies in how an organization imagined, designed, or wanted a process to flow and how, in fact, the process really flows. Process mining not only sheds light on how things happened but also gives answers to why it did happen.

Put the already existing data in your IT systems to good use

Bright Cape acts within various domains and industries, and throughout our endeavors, we found that organizations have this one thing in common; underlying systems like SAP, Oracle, etc. create tremendous amounts of data: a purchase order is created, a payment is made, an order is picked, etc. A great part of this generated data often remains completely unexploited. To show how processes are truly executed these raw datasets are transformed and loaded into process mining software (i.e., Celonis, UiPath).

Process Mining provides transparency for process optimization

One of the prime benefits of process mining is its objectivity. With process mining the performance of the process is continuously displayed (real-time) and can be seen as the single source of truth. Moreover, given the company’s desired process model or KPI targets, one can see right away how far they are off, and which areas need to be improved to obtain the goal.

In addition, process mining shows beneficial to organizations as it will:
Reduce costs
Improve speed
Enhance efficiency

Uncover and improve your inefficiencies

Every data initiative is driven by proper data cleansing, transformation, and validation. Our data engineers can take this work out of your hand. After which process analysts and business value architects will roll-out the implementation further on to get your processes best in class. Besides our process mining competences, we have a well-experienced team focused on user experience and data driven decision making. Together we have all the expertise in house to assist, guide or support you in your data journey.

Curious how we did it?

Our proven methods enable your organization to get the maximum value out of process mining. We have numerous validated use-cases from our elaborate client portfolio, ranging from the banking, logistics, auditing, and manufacturing industry.

Use case

Before the use of process mining, the limited time of highly skilled business analysts were predominantly spent on manual / non-repeatable O2C process investigations through SAP extracts. Therefore, the team impeded the continuous & real-time insight into key root causes like manual changes / rework and delivery / billing blocks of sales orders.

With deploying Celonis, the business analysts can visualize and review all O2C process deviations with just a few mouse clicks and have significantly more time to improve the process continuously in a data-driven way. The Developed Celonis “process change” & “automation” dashboards provide the customer with full granularity on O2C process inefficiencies. Further, the “working capital” dashboard allows the customer to monitor long outstanding billing blocks on sales orders that already have been delivered.

The implementation of Celonis freed up 80 hours a month of business analyst time to spend on business improvement, achieved 80k yearly reduced manual changes a year, and identified over €3M of working capital improvements due to long outstanding billing blocks.
